## Overview [#overview]

Clearly AI connects to Google Drive using OAuth so you can authorize access to your Google Drive account. Once connected, Clearly AI can read files and folders you choose to include in your project context. An admin sets up a shared connection for the workspace, and people can also connect their own account.

### Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

* Access to **Integrations** in **Organization settings**
* A Google account with access to the Drive you want to connect

    ### Open the Google Drive integration [#open-the-google-drive-integration]

    In Clearly AI, open **Organization settings**, select **Integrations**, then click **Set up** on the Google Drive card.

    ### Connect your account [#connect-your-account]

    Check **I understand** under the shared-credential notice, then click **Connect**. A new window or tab opens where Google asks you to authorize Clearly AI. Sign in to Google if prompted, then approve the requested permissions.

    ### Add the credential [#add-the-credential]

    Click **Add workspace credential**. Clearly AI tests the connection and enables the integration only when the test passes. Projects can then add Google Drive content as sources.

To connect your own Google Drive account instead, open **Customize**, go to the **Yours** tab, and click **Connect** on Google Drive. Google Drive appears there only after an admin installs its connector. When a Source or Workflow runs as you, it uses your personal connection.
