## Overview [#overview]

Clearly AI connects to Notion using OAuth so you can authorize access to your Notion workspace. Once connected, Clearly AI can read pages and databases you choose to include in your project context. An admin sets up a shared connection for the workspace, and people can also connect their own account.

### Prerequisites [#prerequisites]

* Access to **Integrations** in **Organization settings**
* A Notion workspace you want to connect

    ### Open the Notion integration [#open-the-notion-integration]

    In Clearly AI, open **Organization settings**, select **Integrations**, then click **Set up** on the Notion card.

    ### Connect your account [#connect-your-account]

    Check **I understand** under the shared-credential notice, then click **Connect**. A new window or tab opens where Notion asks you to authorize Clearly AI. Sign in to Notion if prompted, then approve the requested permissions.

    ### Add the credential [#add-the-credential]

    Click **Add workspace credential**. Clearly AI tests the connection and enables the integration only when the test passes. Projects can then add Notion content as sources.

To connect your own Notion account instead, open **Customize**, go to the **Yours** tab, and click **Connect** on Notion. Notion appears there only after an admin installs its connector. When a Source or Workflow runs as you, it uses your personal connection.
