Notifications tell you when something in Clearly AI needs your attention, such as a Connection that stopped working or a Workflow run that failed. Clearly AI sends each notification to the people who can act on it. Select **Notifications** in the sidebar to open the notification panel.

## Read notifications [#read-notifications]

A notification becomes read when you select it, its action button, or its action in a toast, or when you select **Mark all as read**.

When a problem keeps happening, Clearly AI updates its existing notification, marks it unread, and moves it to the top, so you don't get a new notification each time. When Clearly AI can tell a problem is fixed, such as a Connection that reconnects, it closes the notification and marks it read. Other notifications stay open until you read them, and the next time the problem happens after that, you get a new notification.

Toasts appear while you're using Clearly AI when a notification arrives or an existing one is updated.

## Choose which notifications you receive [#choose-which-notifications-you-receive]

Go to **Settings → Notifications** to turn each notification type on or off.
